March 2024 Update - We're Grateful We Have to Temporarily Change Our Lead Times

It’s March 2024?!

We have climbed out from under the pile of packing foam, boxes, PVC and wood shavings, just long enough to give you an update on what has been happening and what’s next for Apex Reptile! 🐍

It's been an exciting journey for our family business the last few years. Our commitment to creating modern, modular, adaptable, furniture-grade enclosures has not gone unnoticed. We are thrilled to say it seems that the secret is out and our reptile forever homes are becoming a staple in your human homes! 🤩

We want to thank each and every one of you that has made getting this far possible. If you’ve ever interacted with us, you’ve impacted us and we don’t say that lightly. Apex Reptile has grown thanks to your continuous support.💚

Until now, we have managed to maintain a lead time of 2-4 weeks. Even as we grew, we strived to scale appropriately and meet this timeline, only experiencing minor delays during peak seasons. However, we have been swept off our feet with more growth and demand than we anticipated!

For that, we are extremely grateful to you.

As with any growing business, the Apex Reptile team has also experienced changes. We've seen our team grow and shrink. We are selective with who we onboard since we value our product quality above anything else, so our incredible people are hard to replace and take some time.

All this to say, we are still a small team, crafting many things in-house, with many components arriving at our shop as raw materials. We love and believe in our product and we are delighted to see that you do too.

We are profoundly thankful for the trust you have placed in us to create forever homes for your reptile companions. Many of these enclosures have become centerpieces in your homes, and we are honored to be a part of that.

So, what’s next?

Our top priority remains fulfilling existing orders. Our time is primarily spent cutting, cleaning, fabricating, and packaging orders (If we don’t respond to you, we’re probably in the shop, it’s our own forever home currently).

We are sending out individual estimates for current order shipments as accurately as possible.

We’ve already got things in the works that will help with our capacity, but for now, our “official” lead time is temporarily going to be 6-8 weeks.

We really appreciate you planning and ordering ahead and being patient with us. Your support and orders really help us grow, so we can make better product and deliver it quicker!

Customizations & General Inquiries: At this time, we are not able to provide any customizations to enclosures, but please feel free to submit your inquiries to be placed in our queue!
